About
The things I'd want to find myself.
It started simply – with the urge to make things a little differently. No big collections, no need to follow whatever happens to be trending.
I like looking for the idea where nobody else would: in an old men's jacket, an unusual fabric, or a detail that ends up changing the whole cut.

About me
Dareczech is me, Kači.
From the first idea through the cut to the last stitch, the whole process is in my hands. I don't always know exactly what a fabric will turn into – and that's the part I enjoy most.
I try things, redo them, sometimes unpick everything and start over. Until there's a piece I'd want to wear myself.

Why only once
There are no collections planned a year ahead. It usually starts with one material, one cut or one detail that catches my eye. The rest works itself out along the way.
That's why things keep shifting and evolving – and the next piece doesn't have to be quite the same.

Materials with a past
Men's jackets, shirts and leftover fabrics often hide more than you'd think at first glance. Whenever it works, I like using what has already had a first life.
Other times I reach for new fabric simply because it grabs me. It's not about rules. It's about what can come out of it.

At home, not on a line
I don't sew to a spreadsheet, or to fill a stockroom. Some ideas work first time; others take a few attempts.
But the result has to be something I stand behind – the cut, the finish, and that one small extra detail.

Sewing from an idea
A jacket you love, a fabric you've been saving for years, or just an idea of something you can't find anywhere?
Message me. Together we'll come up with a piece you'll fall for.
